Whitney Lane

Hello! My name is Whitney Lane and I am so excited to be a part of the NiswongerCARE Advisor team. I was raised in Bristol, Virginia and just recently moved to Bristol, Tennessee. After earning my Associates from Virginia Highlands Community College, I graduated from Liberty University with my Bachelor of Science in English and Writing. While English is my talent, my passion is building connections and helping students navigate their path to success.

My free time is often spent thrifting, scrapbooking, serving in my church, or watching classic English cinema. Fun fact: my favorite find that I have found while thrifting is a royal blue tea pot that currently acts as a decorative piece for our kitchen table. I married my best friend, Ben, in August of 2025, who I met in the Young Adult class at our church.

I remember the college admissions process when I was in high school and know that it can be intimidating. But you are not alone! I am here to help you through the baby steps and answer any questions you may have. So excited to start on this adventure!
