Allison Pressley
Proud to Serve
Sullivan East High School

My Story
I am a recent graduate of East Tennessee State University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a minor in Special Education. When I began college I knew I wanted to work with students in some capacity. While teaching ultimately was not the path I chose, my experiences throughout college helped confirm my passion for supporting and guiding young people. As a first generation high school graduate on one side of my family and a first generation college graduate on the other, I understand firsthand how overwhelming the college and career process can feel. This experience is what drives my passion for working as a College and Career Advisor. What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to be the support system that my parents and I needed when we were navigating my path to college.
When I’m not working, I enjoy crafting, antique shopping, volunteering, watching motorsports, cooking and hanging out with my best friends. My friends are the greatest thing I gained during my collegiate chapter, they are my biggest supporters and I’m their biggest fan. We celebrate everything together, we have a recipe and decor for every occasion. So, if you need college and career advice or a snack idea to celebrate a new job, I am your one stop shop!
