Hi! My name is Holly Frye, and I graduated from East Tennessee State University in May 2023 with a major in Health Administration and a minor in Leadership Studies. I am originally from Pikeville, Kentucky and moved to Kingsport, Tennessee right before high school, where I attended Dobyns-Bennett High School. In high school and college, I had some great mentors that helped me realize my passion for public health. In college, I worked as a pharmacy technician, as well as a Gross Anatomy Lab Intern at the Quillen College of Medicine, where I worked with cadavers and dissection. As far as my career goals, I’m still trying to figure it out (and that’s OKAY!).

Outside of my academic and career journey, I love to travel with my husband and spend time with my niece and nephew. My husband and I did a two-week cross country roadtrip as our honeymoon, where we visited Chicago, Mount Rushmore, the Badlands, Yellowstone, Joshua Tree, the Hoover Dam, Houston, and New Orleans (I feel the need to add that we drove this entire route). My niece just turned one year old and my nephew is three years old, and I love the fun they add to my life. 

I realize that trying to figure out your plan to succeed at the age of 18 is intimidating, but my goal is to help you figure out your strengths and passions, while guiding you towards opportunities that reflect them. A plan to success doesn’t have to be perfect or linear, mine sure hasn’t been. However, I hope to emulate the mentors I’ve had along the way that have helped me navigate roadblocks. I’m so excited to serve you this year and support your passions, no matter what they are and what it takes to get there.
