Grace Getz

Hi! My name is Grace Getz and I am originally from Chattanooga, TN! I moved to Johnson City in 2021 to attend ETSU! I recently graduated in May 2025 with my bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Leadership Studies!

 

I’ve never really known what I want to do career wise, but working with students has always been something I have been interested in, so I am super excited for this new opportunity and chapter in my life!

I have absolutely loved my time in Johnson City. I quickly found a home Church here which helped the transition from living in the town I had always known to a town where I knew nobody. I spend a lot of my time with my friends from my Church and I wouldn’t trade those relationships for anything! This is also where I met my husband, who I just married in June!

I have a golden retriever named Rizzo (after Anthony Rizzo, Go Cubs!)! I also love playing pickleball, board games, sewing, and going on hikes! I have recently gotten into photography, which has been so much fun to learn!
