Hi everyone! My name is Cayla Simerly. I grew up in Kingsport, Tennessee, and now reside in Johnson City. I attended Dobyns Bennett High School and graduated from East Tennessee State University, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.

I have danced since I was two years old, and I currently teach and take classes at my home studio, Holloway Dance School. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and hanging out with family, friends, and my three animals – Samson, Sullivan, and Berkley.

I am excited to join the NiswongerCARE team because I know first-hand that post-secondary journeys can be unique. I attended four different colleges in seven years and faced many obstacles along the way. I have learned that we, as humans, can reinvent ourselves as many times as necessary to achieve our dreams. Overall, I am thankful for my experiences and how they shaped me into who I am today. 

I am looking forward to serving students and helping them attain their goals!
